I shot this beverage image as part of a whole series of website marketing images. The client was a very upmarket guest lodge situated in the Kalahari desert region.
An oasis in a thirsty land of contrasts.
Shooting both of these images on location added a level of authenticity and that is critical to high value brands.
Although this is not your typical product image, it was aimed at positioning the service level of the brand in the international hospitality industry. As such, it falls into the commercial photography category of which product photography is a part.
