From the "Outside, In" photo art collection.  Of all the photography styles, flowers have stood the test of time. That's because they are neutral subjects and appeal instinctively to all cultures, genders and age groups. For this reason I chose to focus my efforts on these but added my own creative spirit to each image. I did not want the work to be predictable nor just another pretty flower picture. By contrast, I wanted the images to be unique with vibrant colors and form that captivated the imagination of the spectator.

The subject of this image was taken from my beautiful serene family garden, bursting with colour and life, a special place where children, bees and birds have co-existed for over 50 years. This leaf caught my eye whilst walking in the garden. Its shape intrigued me and I imagined that this could look good if it had some symmetry so I picked it and placed it onto a tile in my sun room. The shadows and blue sunlight just added a new and interesting dimension to the shot that was perfect.

In the box you will find the image carefully wrapped and ready to hang. It comes with a mounting frame already attached and we even provide the hanging screws so that you don't first have to make a trip to the local hardware store before you can enjoy your artwork. You will not have to worry about mounting it in a space with a dark background to avoid the glare that is usually associated with framed artwork as it is glare proof. Nothing irritates me more and totally spoils the experience than a picture with glare.  Without the shine, your picture will come to life and the colors will pop.

Its easy to clean, microbial resistant and very easy to maintain,. Its also scratch resistant and will not shatter if dropped by the movers if ever you need to move house. Because its printed with archival pigment on 100% cotton rag paper of German origin, it will not fade for more than 75 years so it would be a great idea to include it in your will for the next generation to also enjoy.
